  David Baer

  David has over 20 years of experience as a licensed agent, Regional Manager and Insurance agency owner. His family has been in the insurance business for over 30 years, and he is familiar with coverages that are important to large commercial operations. Dave served on the Detroit Lakes Fire Department for 21 years and retired in 2013 after being the department’s Fire Chief.

  Brady Markuson

  Brady spent the first 10 years of his professional career as a commercial loan officer at banks in Detroit Lakes before creating and managing the first inter-bank agency at a financial institution in Detroit Lakes. His parents owned and operated an agency for over 30 years where he worked and learned the business. Along with being a member of the Detroit Lakes Rotary Club, Brady is also a retired Detroit Lakes firefighter.

  Stephanie Morrison

  Stephanie has worked in the customer service industry for over 20 years, bringing her experience to Markuson-Baer Insurance in October 2015. She works closely with accounts to process necessary coverage changes and claims submissions. Stephanie resides in Detroit Lakes with her husband and three children.

  Mallory Loock

  Mallory started working at Markuson-Baer Insurance as an agent in June of 2013. For 2 years prior to starting with MBI she was employed as an administrative assistant at an insurance office in Wadena. She is a 2008 graduate from Henning High School and is happy to be working in Henning with all of the familiar faces. She resides in Henning with her husband Ethan and two children.

  Shari Fisher

  Shari started working at Markuson-Baer Insurance in March of 2017. She has worked in customer service positions for over 15 years and is looking forward to being an agent in the Henning office with Mallory. She graduated from Henning and just recently moved her family from Andover, MN to Henning. She is excited to be in a small town again working with all the friendly Henning people. She resides in Henning with her husband BJ and their three children.

  Shanda Kellogg

  Shanda started working at Markuson-Baer Insurance in October 2022. She has worked in a customer service position for over 20 years. Shanda is a retired Detroit Lakes firefighter and resides in Detroit Lakes with her husband and two children.
